A senior executive who has led business transformation in Europe and the U.S., Bertrand Petit is founder and chairman of Innocherche, a French-based global business innovation network that helps companies anticipate and prepare for disruptive trends and technologies with innovative solutions.
His InnovationWatch concept deploys a team of seasoned executives who first identify novel concepts and emerging business models, then work to develop potential applications for member organizations and clients.
Bertrand has a successful history of guiding systems integration across functions and divisions for technology-driven organizations. Previously, he was CIO at Alstom Transport, and before that, at Rexel USA, one of the world’s leading suppliers of electrical equipment. Prior executive leadership includes a 13-year history at Atofina, one of France’s leading chemical companies, where he held the position of Group President for fine chemicals.
Bertrand was trained as a chemical engineer at France’s prestigious Ecole Superieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielle de La Ville de Paris (ESPCI) and received a graduate degree in Petroleum Economics from the ENSPM.
